
Sunset Yoga 10th Birthday Celebration
Free Introduction to Yoga Class
Thursday April 21, 7:30 – 8:30pm
In this free class you will be given an introduction to yoga. The class will have a short explanation about yoga, beginning yoga poses, guided relaxation and time for questions and answers. Please go to our registration page to preregister – the place to register will be at the bottom of the registratoin page under Workshops and Special Events.
Announcing our Month of Events to Celebrate our Move
Classes will start at our new location on Monday March 28th. To thank our students for moving with us, April will be full of free events!
Sunday April 17, 12:30-3:30pm Open House and 11th Birthday Party
Stop by for food, prizes and to visit with your yoga friends and teachers.
Free Classes
Throughout the month of April we are offering the following free classes:
April 10 – Yoga for Relaxation, 4-6pm
This class is for all ability levels. Amy Duncan will lead the class through yoga poses that promote deep relaxation and stress release.
April 16 – Vinyasa Yoga (Flow), 2-3:30pm
This class is for students with at least six months of yoga instruction. We will explore several different yoga flow sequences, including a standing pose sequence, sun salutations and a forward bending sequence. Nina Pileggi will teach this class.
April 17 – Backbends, 8-10am
This class is appropriate for level 2 and level 3 students. Barb Steif will teach a fun and uplifting class of backbending poses.
April 21 – Intro to Yoga, 7:30-8:30pm
This class is for those new to yoga or new to Sunset Yoga Center. Come explore yoga with this beginning class and have your questions answered about yoga’s benefits.
April 22 – Pranayama, 7:30-8:30pm
This class is for students with at least six months of yoga instruction. Pranayama is the yoga practice of breathwork. Join Jen Shonk for this class on basic Pranayama techniques.
April 23 – Wall Ropes, 2-3:30pm – THIS CLASS IS FULL
This class is for students with one year of yoga instruction. Jen Shonk will teach an invigorating class using yoga “wall ropes” to provide deep openings in the poses.
