
At Sunset Yoga, we offer a class that is sure to meet your needs. From yoga for beginners, to experienced students, we have a class for you!
Level 1
Level 1 is an introduction to yoga for students with little or no yoga experience. Basic alignment and yoga terminology are introduced. Breath work and relaxation are a part of every class.
Level 1/2
This class is for experienced level 1 students or level 2 students. This class will be slightly faster paced than the level 1 class, with basic knowledge of standing poses expected.
Level 2
For students with at least six months of level 1 instruction. Intermediate poses are introduced and beginning poses refined and deepened. You will learn inversions and backbending poses as well.
Level 3
For students with at least three years of Iyengar Yoga instruction. Permission of the instructor required. Advanced poses are explored and further refinement is brought to poses learned in level 1 and level 2.
Gentle Yoga
This class is for students desiring a slower pace. Students who are overweight, seniors or working with a health issue are welcome in this class.
Back care Yoga
A slow paced class which will accommodate those with back pains. You will learn yoga poses and how to work in poses with your back issues. This class is for those students new to yoga and to the back care classes.
Neck and Shoulders Class
This class will focus on poses to relieve tightness in the neck and shoulders.
Family Yoga
A fun class for families to do together! All ages welcome. This class is on a drop in basis only.
Pranayama
Pranayama is the art and science of yogic breathing practices. This seven week series is for those new to the practice and more experienced students.
