YOGA FOR DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY
with Nina Pileggi
Saturday February 8th, 12-2pm
Our busy lives can leave us depressed and anxious, with no apparent way to come back to a state of wholeness. Yoga practice can offer a path through the struggle of depression and anxiety and help you to take a positive step every day towards your innate happiness.
This workshop will include a discussion on how a yoga practice can help you cope and then learning yoga poses you can practice to help improve your mood and lower your anxiety levels. We will explore what categories of poses can help and how to use yoga props to help with opening and relaxation. Alternatives will be offered for those working with other health issues.
This workshop is open to all levels. You must be able to get up and down from the floor unassisted to attend the workshop.
Date and time: Saturday February 8th, noon-2pm. Please preregister here. Let us know if you have any questions about the workshop.
