The summer session is open for registration at Sunset Yoga Center in Portland. We offer yoga classes for beginners, advanced, gentle yoga, teen yoga, family yoga and pranayama. Our yoga studio is close to Beaverton, Tigard and West Hills.

You don’t need to be flexible to start yoga. One of the benefits of joining a yoga class is increasing flexibility. Iyengar yoga is not a ‘hot yoga’ method. Our basic classes are slower paced than ‘flow yoga’, so beginners develop confidence while they learn the poses correctly.
Many research studies involving Iyengar Yoga have been done about the increased health benefits for managing back pain.Yoga may help teens curb anxiety, be more resilient and effectively manage anger and fatigue, suggests a June 2011 study out of Harvard Medical School. Veterans can benefit from yoga in managing PTSD. Yoga classes have been show to increase bone density for osteoporosis patients.
